Even though I ordered an 8 petite the gown is a bit long since I'm only 5'.. Wore gown in daughter's beach "destination" wedding Hispaniola island, Dominican Republic, Beach Punta Cana October 2017. Though dress was subject to sand and water of Atlantic Ocean at the wedding is this gown is still perfect and can be worn for years as it is a classic.I loved the flowing look, which went perfectly with daughter.'s gown. This gown is classy yet subdued so it will not detract from my daughter's wedding dress. Am 100% certain that groom's family will remember the presentation I made wearing this flowing gown. Chose color blush/taupe to reflect October breast cancer awareness. This is the most beautiful dress I have ever bought. I am 63.5 years and this dress projected the image of a lady of substance, yes giving the appearance of humble elegance. Gown was completely comfortable and was worn till midnight. Looked at hundreds of 'mother of the bride' dresses, and none spoke to me. This dress seems to have been designed and sewn with me in mind. The beading expertly sewn and will never come off.
