It is sized as stated. Lovely in every way. I chose the deep purple for my granddaughter’s wedding in September.This is a beautiful dress. The problem is -- they show a model that is 5' 8" tall wearing a petite dress! Petite dresses are for 4' and under! I never noticed that discrepancy when I ordered the dress - judging from the picture it should be tea length. But the dress dragged the ground when I put it on. I was very disappointed because it is really pretty --- and would be a great dress for a tall woman.After buying and returning many dresses. I ordered this dress for my daughter’s wedding, andI am very happy with my purchase.I'm thinking I might end up buying this dress in the near future. It fits nicely but I will get the next size up if I do buy it. It's well made and it really looks dressy. I'm needing it for my step-daughter's wedding in November. I'm going to use it as a Mother-of-the-Bride dress. My husband thought the dress was black so it is a dark navy blue, almost a midnight blue.
