These are nice jeans, bought an 18W thinking they would fit nicely, I'm 5'5" and 220lbs. They do fit a little big and would have loved a 16W but its a huge pain to return anything to Women Within that I decided to just keep them.I ordered a pair that are somewhat too large, but I decided I liked the color so much I started wearing them immediately--but with a belt to keep them up. The main thing is they are perfect length (I am on the mid-tall side) and seem well-made. Just next time, I'll drop down a size when ordering jeans. They do have a bit of stretch, as well. These pants are comfortable, however as soon as you move, they start falling down. They are stretchy and not tight at all, but it seems like the legs pull them down whenever you bend, sit, etc. I got 3 pairs and the only ones that will stay up are the black ones; ironically, the black ones have the zipper on the opposite side (left hand). I'm wearing them but need a tight belt to keep them on my waist. These jeans have zero stretch which makes them a bit uncomfortable. I feel like they fit a bit tight compared to other pants/jeans I've gotten from this brand. I have large thighs, but these jeans are at tight on them. I'm keeping them with hopes they may stretch out with wearing and also because I don't want to pay for a return.Nice material and rich yellow color. Soft and stretchy/comfy.Slightly see-through, but yellow and white pants usually are, so that was not a minus.I ordered the Tall size (need 30" inseam), and I guess it was too tall for me. It made some weird horizontal ripples up and down the pant leg. Returned it. (Cost $3.99 for USPS mail.)I wonder what the inseam really is for regular length. (It's usually 28", which is too short for me).Do I want to deal with another potential return? Hmmm.I was delighted to find a jean that had an inseam long enough but the fit feels weird. The legs are too snug making the legs ride up and not want to slide down when standing from a sitting position. The waist and hips feel almost too large. The fit is not so bad I would return them because of my problem finding any jeans long enough. I would be hesitant to order more. My inseam is 31.5 - 32. Size 14. Small waist with larger hips and normal size legs.Anyone who has ever ordered from this brand knows that their sizing is usually a size more than vanity sizing.. as in most is an enormous fit. Not these! Size up 2 sizes. Seriously.I took that advice and the waist itself is still tight. Not like you cannot button it tight... but snug in an uncomfortable manner. That could also partly be because these jeans are just wonky in the make in general. Length is average. That is where average stops. The zipper and button are evidently designed for the left handed folks of the world. Only jeans I've ever owned where they button and open to the left and not the right. So settle in for having to think while zipping up your jeans. The waist is small but yet super high and more than a generous fit through your rear. So once you zip up left handed and pull them over towards the right because they twist a tad, you will have an incredible urge to pull them up onto your rib cage. The tops of the legs DO seem a bit larger as well. They do narrow in nicely to the ankles but overall? Ugh. I would send them back if I could. But I have washed them. So.. maybe they go to charity. Maybe they hang out in the back of my closet for laundry day or emergencies. But re-ordering them is definitely not in the future.Fit as expected, Comfortable jeans.
